Guys. Been searching for an elusive "hi top" cover for my 288xp as mine was decapitated in its former life. It was mentioned to me that what I have on the saw currently may be a 395 intake runner and may NOT work with the hi top as the saw sits currently. Meaning I may need to locate the proper intake as well as the "top"
I dont know Huskys well enough and this is the only 288xp I've ever personally held

So... do I have the correct intake and filter set up for the hi top ?20200413_094116.jpg 20200413_094037.jpg

As Shaun said your filter neck is correct. But your filter looks over sized too me, wider than normal. I will snap a pic of mine shortly and post for you to see

Yeah, it's the correct filter. The high-top cover and HD filter were designed to be a snug fit with one another so that the
filter didn't have a chance to rattle around as much and develop cracks in the body of the filter near where it mounts to
the filter neck.
