The Oregon yellow stuff is what turns hard and shrinks. Most folks mistake it for Tygon, gives Tygon a bad name.

There is a new yellow oregon in the thread link that folks are having good results with. Dave sells it. Rated for up to 30% ethanol.

I only have a piece Dave sent me and it was different type line. Need to check the thread if there is more info or ask Dave or someone in the thread using it.

I haven't bought line in a few years, since I really don't work on anything much anymore. It looks like
Oregon has added "Oregon Tygon". I see that they are also selling 1 foot lengths, pretty smart.

That rubbery type tygon oregon line is sone real good stuff

Hetes the blue stuff I bought. The only thing it really fit well was the 3400-4000 poulans and even then it kinked easily. Parts unlimited brand 1/8".
