Anyone ever use these on their squish bands?

A lathe, it only takes 20min to setup and cut a squish.

That's the way I do them. Took me a month to save up enough for the lathe and tooling. I've done several squish band cuts and base maching but I'm no where near experienced enough to set a cylinder up and have it cut in 20 minutes....

What’s the disadvantages of an unsquare squish ban??? I assume the piston won’t touch it cuz it’s rounded edge.
