Damn It was hard to get the optics plate
screws loose I had to pound the Allen key into it both screwheads were slightly mishapedIMG_20230722_112521.jpg
primary arms sent screws that were a perfect fit and already had loctite on them.

I really like the looks of that gun. How do you carry it, holster or pocket?

I don't have a holster for this one yet this is the first reflex sighted pistol I've ever shot seems accurate so far.
on my other shield plus's I have a few
I use outbags iwb leather holsters
Very comfortable for me.
I'll probably get a Taurus Gx4 toro slide to try an optic on I have a couple of regular gx4s I like them just as much as the shields no failure's in either platform after thousands of rounds.
actually my friend just bought a couple of new gx4 toros for 210.00 each at a gun store somewhere local that's not much more than a slide alone costs from Taurus.
With the 15rnd equalizer mag's I just use a shield plus for home defense anymore
I can shoot them about as well as my fullsize pistols.
For example my 3.6 2.0 m&p is 15rnds as well.

So the Shield plus uses the same mags as the Equalizer? OMG, a gunmaker that opted not to make another 9mm mag that fits only one specific gun!

That's what they introduced with the equalizer the 15rnd mag's.
I was surprised they are already down to 29.00 a piece at some places hey were 50.00 when introduced
My friend is Paying near 60.00 for sig micro mag's

The price on those has fallen big time, I bet they are being discontinued.
I really don't know what's going on
Most all the big gun companies are heavily discounting firearms
Maybe it's just the overall glut of similar guns in the market and sales have stalled.
I lost count of manufacturer's at my local gun store just piles and piles of AR style rifles and polymer frame pistols.

I was thinking about putting a RD on my compact TX22 to play around with. I don’t think i’d want one on my carry guns though.
I don't have them on my carry guns
Just range toys
The primary arms classic is on sale again
For 131.00 shipped I like it I have one on a shield plus.

I work part time at a very busy shop and can tell you the Max 9 does not sell well at all, even though it does have a lot going for it. I don't see Ruger keeping it much longer, they have discontinued many guns that sold alot better.

Spent some time loading today.
I normally do this in the winter but last winter was mild and I got to spend a lot of time outside. This summer has sucked, so I’m getting caught up now.

After several hundred rounds I've concluded that the Ruger LCP isn't just going to work with me. Don't know why, given that I shoot my snubnose revolvers and Kel-Tec P32's really well. Anyway, the fun store had a new Savage Axis .308 with handsome wood stock on the rack and the owner offered me a fair trade so I used the LCP as a down payment on it. Already have a plastic stock/non-Accutrigger version and I really like it so this should be even better.

Only 1911 I own. From 1966 in its orig box. I just installed new Fire Blued screws for the grips. They look stunning in the sunlight, can’t get the same look inside. Dang it. IMG_5074.jpegIMG_5072.jpeg
