OK. The inside diameter of the Echo Fuel line looked much larger than the inside of the Husqvarna squiggly fuel line.

3mm ID and works perfect. Also makes good impulse line on other chain saw makes with the 6mm OD and the 5MM OD can be used too.

Here it is being used for impulse before cutting down.

remember, for a lot of husky saws, the issue is OD because you MUST get a tank seal with the line, there is no grommet ... to the OD is crucial and tygon is either too narrow or too heavy

husky line is very specific... 7/32" ... .218" ...which is around 5.5 mm ... problem is, I can't find any manufacturers of 5.5mm line... just 5 or 6mm.. annoying for sure. 6mm is near .24" 1/4" is .25 of course... which is actually too big

Yep, OD is critical with the huskies. The Tygon .211 OD x .117 ID line fits perfectly.

If your working on your own saws or with owners permission. Remember all it takes is a drill bit to open that plastic hole up. ;)

Learned this from the poulan board on my site by guys opening that tiny hole so all 3 lines are the same size.

I use echo or stihl line prefer them over knock off or the squiggly Husqvarna line.
the echo is a little cheaper than the stihl line but both hold to ethanol fine.
Husqvarna line wouldn't be bad if it would hold up to ethanol.

I've done several 371 372 and 288 with the echo bulk 5mm line tight fit no leaks. I know what you mean several saws ive tried tygon on leaked because it was a tiny bit too small coming from the tank.

fairly slow.... I didn't get much done to it this summer. I'm much better at milling the wood than I am as a carpenter, so I'm likely going to hire someone to help me finish it, for an ambition boost if nothing else lol. I'll eventually post an update video on the property, maybe before winter so everyone is up to date. thanks for asking!

I think @griffonks talked about drilling and using a grommet but don't remember the particulars.
