I got a little this morning after returning from my cabin. I dropped both trunks on Sunday but only cut up the one left, today I got the one on the right.I used my XS 550xpg for limbing and my Stump Shot 572XP for the trunk. Everything was blocked at 26" for a owb.

Sorry for the multiple posts but I can only load so many pictures at a time. The pieces were to heavy to carry out so I noodled them down with my XS 572xpg with a 32" bar.

Got the rest of the elm cut up and moved to my backyard, maybe a 1/4 cord, maybe. Thinking I will stock up some wood here and bring the splitter in once a get a nice stash.20231028_100900.jpg

I got a little this morning. The easiest tree that I ever cut. I dropped the dead oak on the snowmobile trail. No brush or thorns to contend with! I used my Stump Shot 550xpg for limbing and my Stump Shot 572XP for the trunk. I blocked everything at 26" for a owb.

Well, I finally got all the honey locust I hauled home last December processed and stacked. There's a small Catalpa tree in there and a branch that I just added to it as well. There's just over 19 cord stacked, or just about 4 years of burning.

The stuff scattered on the ground is what I'm burning this year. I started moving it from my log pile to over here (more sunlight). This was all in 3 to 4 foot long logs, and most of it I won't split. Just cut to length and it's ready. Been sitting 3 to 4 years and moisture content is 15% and under, with most under 10%.

I got a little this morning. Another oak wilt tree. I got the limbs all hauled out to the trail. I'll have to noodle down the trunk tomorrow. The pieces are too heavy to carry. I used my XS 550xp for the limbs and my scarr 572XP for the trunk. Everything was blocked up to 26" for a owb.

I forgot to mention that I rocked another chain. There are rocks everywhere out here! Look at the rocks that I parked my truck next to.

Hi Brad, take a look at a (2 person) sled for moving those heavy pieces out. They don't cost to much and save the body for the next load.

I've been using one of these for a few years, slides OK on grass and sand.
