I like square file for milling, you can easily convert any full chisel chain, just need the files.

. This is a floor of band saw wide pine in a whole house we built. All the trim work, window sills etc all sawn boards. Note the ceiling..we put in beams all band saw. When you get into expensive wood for furniture etc... you want to use bandsaw so as to not waste wood from kerf. A chainsaw mill waste a lot of wood and leaves a rough surface as you know.My whole cabin upstate is Post and Beam Ash that I milled with the chainsaw (with a Beam Machine).
They are 6.5" square, the cabin is 20' X 24' - 2 stories high.
Plus, I made all the appropriate furniture for it!
If autozone sold chainsaw accessories...That is pretty cool, but man that faux carbon fiber is just tacky lookin.

Actually, I have a chain cover like that, and it looks good on my Black Hybrid!
I hope they come out with one for the 036. Need some new covers for the hunk of junk 034 I just bought. Not sure what is wrong with it other than someone robbed parts off of it (haven't looked at it closely). Got a coil, starter and a clutch on the way. Going to put all that on and see if it runs. No sense tearing it all the way down if it still runs...I just realized how perfectly I stuck my foot in my mouth. The back of my phone is a yellow carbon fiber skin...covering the cracked glass.
Ms660 kit is pretty simple. Biggest pita is the chain tensioner. Occasionally you run across an issue like an untapped hole.
The problem is in the casting. It does not allow the spur gear to sit all the way down in the pocket. Everyone I have put together I have had to remove material from the pocket and the pin the spur gear sits on. I tried putting OEM parts on and it did not fix the issue. Here is some before and after pictures. The new colorways for the pro and standard 660 models look pretty slick!
My chain tensioner too, is quite finicky...considering snagging an OEM version.
The new colors of both the pro g660 and the standard look quite nice!
