They don't look like Bashlin gaffs. They have a straight leg ''iron''
Unless the came out with something new in the last 8 mons. Nice pads though.

As so is the OPs
Sorry, I was speed reading and didn't notice you were one of the same. I confused you with another member.

You have a very nice rig for doing pole work! Not many pole climbers left in the field. At least in my area. Seems to be all bucket truck, and some ladder work. Not to mention all the underground service of ''modern'' times.

Bump…would trade for a good 046/460 cylinder and piston and/or MS440 parts(OEM). Heck make a reasonable offer.

You get use to it. It’s kinda like everything else, you grumble, start using it and eventually find it doesn’t bother you that bad lol.

Post of the month! Very applicable to, as you said, everything: climbing gear, chainsaws, trucks, ect.

I've got a set of old Bashlin pole gaffs and a Klein belt in my shed .I haven't used them in 35 years nor will I ever again .The last hooks I ever used were long gaff tree hooks loaned to me by my bud who is a trimmer .I climbed about a 30 foot spar just to see if I could still do it .After I recovered in about 2 days I figure it's lot easier to fly a bucket truck .I'm real good at that .Besides that if I need a bucket it's only a phone call away .
