Good afternoon amigos. Semi sunny today decent little storm. Trees down. I always like it its like hunting until you have to be somewhere. Who's running light weight bars these days? I've been switching my whole fleet over. The Oregon light bar is real goid. The Cannon is my favorite. They all have been worth the extra cost IMO.

The last time I saw a comparison, the Stihl light bars were the lightest in most lengths.

They are not cheap, but I have not had any problems with them.

I got a 34" Oregon light bar from a member on here its AWESOME, so I got a 25" stihl light bar on my 034 (big bore, pop up) and tthat makes the whole combination super light.
Honestly thats all I can swing right now over the last couple of months, but if just a little bit of a deal was available....
I had no idea that the balance would be so dramatic on the ms441 with the 34" bar.

34inch is one of my favorites a 36 doesn't fit me well. Never suited me. I have a couple more saws to switch over when I can afford it. When I'm on a tree job all my saws are with me. Bit honestly I won't run it unless ots got a light bar anymore

The weight of the bar, in any length, makes a big difference in how the saw feels and handles.

I pay a lot of attention to the bar weight.

When you are balancing on top of a pile of logs, or if you have to reach to make that notch on a distressed tree on a slope, it starts to really matter!

I don't have 34", but my 661 with 32" 404 feels good!

Personally I have not run either saw but a few guys I know are running the 500i, they really love them for the easy starting, great AV and power. They don`t like the amount of fuel they use, thirsty they claim.
Cool thanks buddy. I'm hearing a few locally live em. Your the second person I heard say that on fuel. But my Stills always seemed thirstier than my husky imo. I always assumed from different ported of brands. Looking like they finally landed husky style av thats good
