By a mile.
Wow that's saying something. Well atlease in my opinion from Just what I've experienced the 372 is the easiest saw I've worked on. The OE being easier than the xtorq but that's only because I look like a *pretty boy trying to get the intake boot divider to slip into the carburetor... Lol

That’s awesome. Not sure I’ve ever seen an actually echo dealer. Would be like spotting big foot around my area.
Not quite.
Sometimes when I get drunk enough, I have seen Big Foot.
No matter how intoxicated, I'm yet to see an actual Echo dealer.

Big foot likes to be spotted playing in dense fog or out of focus areas behind rocks!

. What is the essence of the negative reviews you have seen? Just curious.
I just noticed this part of your comment my bad. Alot of negative reviews turned out to be men who wouldn't put their purses down when trying to start it. Haha I went through home Depot reviews echos site and Amazon. Alot of people saying whhha I can't get it started. Looks like they need the neotec saw that says good for elderly and women.

Have them try to start a 880 with no decompression valve. And Make things worse bump the compression 200psi and up. Screenshot_20241218-104620.png

As a dealer who has had this complaint, when someone goes to an Echo from another brand, they tend to flood them at first because of how easily they start. After they realize these things start really well when they do it right, they can't get done crooning over them.

I Just received my timber wolf and it started flawlessly. I've got stihls and huskys I had no problem.I have seen countless videos where people rip on the starter like they are having alone time with themselves. I don't get why. Slow down

The 590/600/620 platform saw is flat out one of the easiest chainsaws ever to work on. Period. Taking the carburetor off is a 10 second job.
Wow you were right! (Not that I doubted what you said) I had the cylinder off in about a minute and a half. I did chuckle as I noticed the intake and exhaust. Echo really wanted to be different that's for sure. 🤣 I had to double take. I was like wait a minute rectangular intake and rounded exhaust??

IMO, Echo really shines in the 590 Timberwolf, cs4910, cs400 etc family of saws. Best bang for the buck. Price has gone up some but for years you could buy a 590 at Home Depot for 399.00. With 20" bar if I remember correctly. I own 4 saws, 1 weed whip, 1 leaf blower and only 1 is an Echo. So I don't call myself a Echo fanboy necessarily but although I don't need a 590, I really want one. I have read a lot of good reviews on the 590 on forums. Hope you enjoy yours. Peace

Well *s-word!!! Hustin we haves problem!! I Didn't realize k10 rebuild kit won't fit HDA268. For some reason I thought all HD series carbs used the same diaphragms. Wasn't untill I got home from the saw shop with the new kit did I notice there is an A to the HD 🤣

I sell Red Armor for less than HALF of what H.D. does.
I bought a bunch of RA from a local dealer since their online price was better than anywhere else, even their 1gal jugs. I got the boxes of a dozen 12.8oz bottles. Actually the deal was so good the first time around they sent a box of 4 1g jugs when I ordered 2 dozen 12.8oz. I let them know, and they happily drove by to swap.

What's your best bottle size and qty price wise?

I know we sell the one gallon jug for $85.00 and honestly that is the most cost effective way to buy it. A case (48) of the 2.6 oz. bottles is $140.00 so a gallon jug is basically half price for the same amount of oil.

They flood easily because they start easy. Some dummy on YT has a video blaming the decomp valve.

I put a sign in my shop that says "Unflooding service $20" specifically because these saws and also have a chat with every customer I sell one to. When they leave after purchasing one I always say "see you tomorrow when you flood it anyways!"

It's always interesting when they say "you sold me junk" and then I give them a play-by-play of exactly what's going to happen on each step of the unflooding.

I have yet to actually charge for the unflooding service, but merely pointing to the sign is enough to help the guy learn what he needs to learn.

Then we're stronger together.

Unflooding service charge!! 😂 That is hilarious. The only mistake I've made with this saw (so far) haha is i didn't realize using compressed air on the carburetor kills the anti lean valve. It's all good though I've got one of your carbs coming for it.

I've been meaning to ask you or anyone else that might know. Is the dukes coil for the 590 unlimited?? I didn't see anything about it being limited or not in the description.

My suggestion is that next time do not buy a used saw from Home Depot. I never have and never will. HD cleaned your clock by selling you a non-running Echo 590. Perhaps they told you that it was a non-running saw before you paid for it. If not, try to get your money back.
