So my buddy with the tree service was asking about the echo saws he has. He was saying that they don't seem to oil like new after about a year of use. I've not seen that before unless the oiler filter is clogged but he says that's not the issue. Any thoughts or ideas here? He didn't give me a specific saw model just said he is having this same issue with all of the echos he has.

How often does he clean the oil holes in the bar?

He blows them out on the regular he said the huskys and stihls don't do it just the echos so I'm trying to figure out if it's something with the saw design as I don't have any experience with the echo saws.

I only have one now and never had any trouble with it.
