A buddy has an 020AVP he just picked up for $15 running, and he was looking to convert to 3/8lp but the oiler sprockets are unobtainainum. I was wondering can modern 1/4 picco be ran on the old full sized 1/4 pitch spur sprockets? Unless one of you guys somehow has a 3/8 oil pump gear part# 1114 647 1812 you'd be willing to sell.

these are spur type sprockets and my understanding was that you could pretty much run whatever and it’ll work as long as bar and chain match and the chain tensioner hole lines up and tightens it up. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

The modern 1/4-.043 can be ran on the old style 1/4 sprocket, but you will need a modern 1/4" bar. The old 1/4 pitch chain was .050 gauge, wider than the modern 1/4 pitch.
