You have to buy the D carb adjustment tool if it’s the same as a dolmar 7910. Cheap on ebay. I usually remove the screws with the tool and slot the heads with a dremel cutoff wheel. That way I can use a screwdriver.

Do you have a link for them. Just got the carb adjustment screwdrivers from echo and none of them fit. Either to small or to big. Got an aftermarket d but the fit is very sloppy.

This is by far my fav saw. I saw a video where a guy puts stihl 16” bars on them. After he mods the saw of course. He says ya gotta mod the bar as well. Anyone done this? I’d like to do it just bc.

Well fellas, I just stopped at my dealer and a brand new 7310 is on its way. Pretty excited to join the 70cc club. Current line up includes a 355t and a 590. My plan is to try my hand at porting on an 041av I got at an auction last week. Then if all goes well with that, I will cut the squish band and port the 590. Then finally, start hopping up the 7310. I think I'll have plenty to keep me busy this winter after hunting season! :D

Does anyone know the tread size and pitch of the deco valve on a cs-590? Its npt if I'm not mistaken isnt it? Mines leaking and I'm just going to plug it off. Thanks in advance!

Anybody seen the new Echo CS-4910? Supposed to be very light, the parts list suggests it is not a clamshell.

There's a used CS-600p for sale near me. I like the feel of it, and the specs. How is the parts availability? Does it share a lot of parts with the 590/620?

My understanding is the 600 has most of it's parts in common or at least interchangeable with the 590 and 620. Echo is pretty good about maintaining parts availability too.

Don't know why I didnt post this before, since I have saws using these bars. Comparison between Echo K216 bar mount and Husky K095.

According to my machinist rule, the bar slot is around 21/64" on both. The only differences I can see are the oil hole is slightly larger and a little more forward on the K216. The adjuster holes are slightly closer together on the K095

K095 on Echo CS-500P. Note the adjuster hole needs to be modified downward a bit to line up.

K216 slides right on to a Husky 440, however once again the adjuster hole would have to be modified to work with the clutch cover mounted adjuster.

So, it shouldn't be any problem to interchange these bars as long as one knows how to operate a rat tail file and maybe a cobalt drill bit.

Thought i would try a 24 inch bar on my 520. Made a few cookies on about a 16 inch nlock of wood. Seems to work pretty good. Little bose heavy now which i expected.
I did this with no intentions of burying the bar. Just for the extra reach.

Currently talking to a guy on FB who has a CS-800P for sale, supposedly it only has a dozen hours on it. He is interested in a partial trade for my Dolmar 5105, which has a nearly new Tsumura bar and Oregon chisel chain on it. He is asking $550.00 plus shipping for the Echo, I was thinking of offering him my saw plus $200.00. Does that sound reasonable? I just can't swing $550.00 for a saw that I don't need but really want, but I probably could do $200.00 plus a saw that it would be effectively replacing.

Ok, got the Tsumura bar in for my CS-500P!

Fits perfectly with no modifications.

No wonder, it was a stock bar for this unit in Japanese domestic market and the rest of the world from day 1.

Hell this saw was made in Japan, they should have included this bar from the get go.

US goes with powerheads only - the market demands lower prices for which the japanese bars and their shipping are too expensive.
