I got a John deere mechanic keeps ask8ng me if I’ve found him a John Deere chainsaw yet do they come up for sale very often

You’re welcome. My @Red97 ported 590 with muff mod is one of my favorites. A muff modded 590 is loud , obnoxious may be a better adjective.

I wonder what makes 590's seem so loud when muffler modded compared to others. I've tried 3 different styles all with similar sounding results.

Here ya go, thanks to Robin Wood for his help getting it into the USA. Got here today and took 10 days to arrive. Right now I have no plans to gas it up.

No, I’m not a sawmiller. I bought it because it falls into that category I collect. That category would be “ cant get that here”. The build quality is exquisite. Period.
