I assume on the high point of the cam?

I did the pump R&R on a JD 80 quite a few years ago. Used a kabob skewer to feel for it. [emoji108]

Spent way too much time on the tiny fellows.

Th JD 30 runs/cuts great! The 315 is soggy boggy like the points gap is closed up/late spark.

Turned the pump all the way down. Still oils like The Exxon Valdez! [emoji2960]

That 330 is sweet! Now, do you think the Echo decals are original? I thought that style logo came out after the EVL series saws. Maybe there was a brief transition period?

All original AFAIK. Pulled from the pile run tested and cleaned up.

Make me an offer I can’t refuse. [emoji6]

The manuals never specified finding TDC of the lobe as a reference. Although I did need to do that on the 601/701 pumps' different design. Just always used 3/4 out from gently seated on the piston driven style.

A couple of pages from the service manual outlining the pump...

I wanted to have the high point on top to avoid wiping off the lobe should I turn it in too far.

Not wanting the R &R a crank.

I had it here for a month or so and never started it.

So what was the story with that one?

Gotta pack up that other solid warm red saw I have here...

A couple of years back I had a discussion about how the 590 I was told it wasn’t worth looking at it gotta be the 620 well I don’t agree so been looking out for a
590 timber wolf for ages and this ported one came about so couldn’t resist
Now gotta give it a run and have some fun

I have a @Red97 ported 590 and a muff mod 590 and wouldn’t get rid of either one.
