Have never run one...but, a search shows great reviews..almost 70 cc's. Taken care of, I'm sure it would make someone a great mid to larger sized saw for many years.

Have a couple 670's not much different other than color.

With your 590, I wouldn't worry about a 680 unless it was a screaming deal.

The 680, is a very robust, well built saw.

Stock for stock the 590 will perform better.

Thanks Red , more curious than anything .
Looking into getting a 620 , wondering if I can pull the jug and send it to someone who can work some magic on it that is familiar with them ?? :)

Possibly :)

I do like the 670/80 saw platform, but all out performance goes to the 590/620 currently.

Still have a couple 670's to build...

Well with the exception of the handle , updated bar and rim sprocket what advantage does the 620 have over the 590 or 600 ?
I may be able to get a deal on a 600 now since they have been discontinued and they're clearing them out .

I just want a mild port on a saw , nothing pushing it to the limits .

The 600's I own came with a rim drive setup, 590 have a spur. Not sure if it is newer or older 600's had aluminum handle too.

The main + of the 620 is metal clutch cover, dual spikes carb/coil along with better port timing. but I feel the 590/600 will be stronger once ported, but have never ported a 620. Just made clones lol.

Pretty sure the 600 has the aluminum handle . The 620 can likely be made to run even stronger with the muffler mod too I expect .

I've never been into ported saws , I only have a Husky 346 that was done but otherwise I leave them stock or maybe do a muffler mod and a carb tweak .

Going to look into it , I'm likely giving my 590 to my oldest son if he makes it this way this month or I'll send it or take it out to NB next spring or summer if I can make it .
