What is an Echo 4910? Why is it NLA? How viable is owning one? What is parts availability, now and in the future? As the 346xp fades away, is this a good replacement?
It’s a slightly stripped down version of an echo 501P. Plastic top handle, doesn’t have captured bar nuts, little things like that. It runs the same. They aren’t made any longer either (501 still is). They don’t run with the 346 but are still a decent lightweight replacement
Ran mine today clearing all my dog mushing trails. Blowdowns everywhere after high winds.
Ive owned a couple of 4910's. My current one:
Base gasket delete, basic woodsport, muffler opened up.
I run a 20" speed cut/aluminum core .325 narrow kerf bar and rs pro .325 narrow kerf chain.

FWIW they’re the lightest ever 50cc saw, so they end up getting compared to saws that weigh significantly more.
The air filters are a weakness, but there is a mesh available or you can get a kit to change over to the older 400 style air filter.

My shoulder is fked up from chipping overflow ice with a 30 lb ice spud. The flyweight 4910 is bout all I can handle. With that 20" narrow kerf aluminum core bar, dmn thing doesn't weigh nuthin.
