Does anyone know the difference other than price of gasoline labeled E free @ the pump vs prepackaged store fuel ( vp,trufuel, etc.) ? Any significant benefits of canned fuels over ethanol free pump gas? Thanks!:)

No real benefit for one over the other except the can fuel woul be very consistent for mix ratios and fuel quality. I've still never had an issue mixing my own...

Canned fuel is supposed to be stable much longer. Like 3 years unopened, and a year or two opened. I try to put it in my string trimmer and my lawn boy after mowing season is over.

Cost is obvious. As to "shelf" life I use StarTron, a fuel stabilizer and ethanol killer in all my OPE fuel, be it mix or straight and have had ZERO trouble with anything in the last 3 years. Hope mentioning "snake oil" doesn't cause seizures or start a fight.

I by some 102 efree for my end of season conditioning and the guy says keep it air tight and out of the sun and it sun and it'll last. On the plus side it smells good and evaporates quickly when spilled. And I can make a gallon for the cost of a mix can.
