I call that a blood sacrifice to the saw gods.
Have you tried a less open or tube style muffler on it ? I've found with the larger carb on these and a very open muffler will cause erratic idling/loading up. The last muffler I did for one of these I used two 1/2" id tubes about 1 3/4" long with 2/3 sticking inside the muffler, the rest sticking out and the outside ends cut at a 45. It made a very noticeable difference in the saws manners. Better idle and throttle response. Seems backward I know, to run a smaller muffler opening with a larger carb but it does seem to help make them more usable in my experience.Idle issues. Loading up. Piston perfect.
