The rim is a much better set up. I've never liked spur sprockets on anything. It's much easier to change a rim for different gearing or wear.yep i need the skinny one
checked the dealer today i can get the rim set up for 35.00
the spur is NLA in .325
I've used several of the Oregon drums and rims with no problems.Has anyone tried either the Oregon brand or Stens brand rim sprockets?
I could use it. PM me a price.Ok. Thanks Dallas.
And Stihl Saws
I bought a whole setup for the adjustable oiler if anyone is interested. Brand new Stihl. Doesn't fit my fixed oiler 026.
Ok. Thanks Dallas.

It woulda fit Jeff. It fits them all. There is more than just the pump/gear/rim, there's also a crank bushing and washer that's needed.Ok. Thanks Dallas.

works fine for a work saw i would rather have a 024,026 set up with lo pro.Cool Jake. But how does that lo pro chain cut for a worksaw?
You just building a speedster saw? A cant saw?
watch this video here is 025 with a 24'' running 3/8 lo proCool Jake. But how does that lo pro chain cut for a worksaw?

my friend has a 290 set up with lo pro it made it a better saw.Not bad. Not sure why a tree guy would be using an 025 with a 24" bar while up in a bucket, but not bad.
