Golf is trash. Crooked wrist pin bores, shallow circlip notches, uneven skirts. No experience with Api. I would use Farmertec before Golf.
Hello. I havent find any farmertech cylinder, for the 242xp.

That round fin cylinder is branded and distributed by Brumar out of Italy. Who actually makes it is an unknown, Brumar seems to be a wholesaler who private labels stuff.
Apparently they are decent quality, and porting is comparable to stock from what I have been told by a couple people who have ran them.

I learned it from a hockey card...

Did you reuse the old crankshaft bearings for this build?

Interesting looking cylinder - I wonder why they made it round?

Looks like nikasil. But i have never seen a chrome bore so i could be talking out of my ass
Nikasil typically has a bit of a gold tint to it while chrome is very silver.
Nikasil can also be mildly magnetic.
Then of course there's these newer titanium type plating's, those are outside of my experience.

Okay! Thanks. Yeah I don’t think anyone has made Chrome bore cylinders for about 20 years. If anything it would be a Cast Steel Sleeve if it was a real cheapy

Exciting! Did you get timing numbers off the cylinder?

Choke and gaslinkage mounted. All i need to actually start it now is the muffler.

To test it in the wood i need the later style clutch. A cltuch cover and top cover. Of course looking for the last parts as we speak.
