My 262 is faster than Marcellos...but not by much...it's in 2nd vid I think.
My 262 had an older chain....his was brandy new.

Lee...how did you bore out the motor...did you replate? how?

So it's effectively an 084 with longer stroke?

The 385xp is nice...but my faves are my 350 and my 394

Matty, That 166 came to me in pieces in a box. Total rebuild
but the cylinder was in good shape so i wanted to save it as a
spare. I had a damaged cylinder on the shelf that US Chrome
could not replate as it had a groove to the top of the cylinder.
Had the cylinder for about a year and i always wanted to try
a big bore. Did some piston research and found the 084,088
piston to be my better choice. Had to bore the wrist pin bores
but offset bore them to drop the piston. Then finish hone. Had
to lengthen the skirts. Once piston was done i sent the piston
and cylinder back to US Chrome and had them bore it 4mm
over size. Told them give me 5 thou piston clearance. It was
trial and error but came out ok. The bore is now Nicasil not
chrome.

In all fairness to Silvey, we had not a clue how to set up the darn thing. If anybody has ANY advice or vids or colored crayon drawings to forward please do. It sure make "converts" out of a lot of operators though.

Have fun with it Dan and Sondre.
And if anyone talks to Shawn Carr ask him to chime in.
Did you find these couple vids by Shawn?

Whats the cost to rebore and replate a cylinder??? yikes. sounds like a lot of work, but it for sure paid off. waaaaaayyyyy too much saw for me, but i'm fine with running it once :)

I demand a rematch on the 026 vs. 346/350's.

My saw was screaming in the cut. That chain woulda had a hard time getting through a stick of butter.

Next year in a cant with 3 new chains.

(A chainsaw's race losers last resort-blame the chain...)

yeah yeah yeah :)

I agree! That chain was dull. I did my 346 and one of your 026's and they were neck and neck. That run was flawed! [emoji33]
Man I wanted to run the 262 you ported for Matty and forgot.
Same numbers as the one we did for Marcello, I wanted to run them both with same chain...
Oh well...

Can I call you bro now? [emoji23]
You confused my wife, she thought you were Al at first, you two could definitely pass as brothers

I think it was around 250 but i'm in with them as a dealer.
Normally it would have been over 300. Iv'e had them do
quite a few different cylinders. Nice work.
