That was the best part bro!
Can I call you bro now? [emoji23]
You confused my wife, she thought you were Al at first, you two could definitely pass as brothers

that was funny....Brandy caught on to my sarcasm quick....Yulia missed it at first.....then she must have felt bad about confusing me with Al ( everybody knows Im the Good Looking one- he's the smart one). Al's wife says the same thing about us looking alike.

We were brothers before....now you can pick me out of a line up at the local penitentiary.....or bail my dumb a$$ out some time sooner !!!

Thanks Eric, we were wondering about the tooth rocking a bit. Looks like Shawn needs to hold it down at times as well.
I talked to him yesterday, and he said there was no good way to explain it, there's too many variables. I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Deets, as I previously mentioned, I left my 2 460/046-Ds home by mistake, but your hybrid definitely had toque. Any time you want to build one like that for me, just let me know. Would love to have one like that. (or like the other 2 that were there). As I previously mentioned, they impressed, and felt just as strong as the ported 460s that were there. They were noticeably stronger than my 044/440s.

I believe all of the hybrids this time around were running 046-D cylinders, may be something to that!

I did notice that Matt posted the times of the 026 and 350 and 346, but not of the 372 & 044!

Eric, I'm sure that chain could have used a touch up, and I planed to change the filters and test different ones at the event, but never did, so that likely also may have helped. I also notice that with the smaller bar you move the angles more. For comparisons, it is always best to just to stay level, then bar length is not a big factor.

That said, that 044 you brought was very strong, and a beautiful saw, and I hope it becomes yours soon. I knew it would be a runner!

My 372 is not my best work and on top of that I was running skip chain and old skip chain and you are so I was running particularly well that day and had a beautiful chain on it I figured the comparison was hardly fair now on the flip side With Lo26 I didn't think the change was that bad on it but happy to have a rematch anytime

Matt, I love the way that 026s runs, it is just what I want in a little saw, but you did a damn fine job on that 350, especially considering it is a AM jug! GREAT WORK!

Get back inside that 372 and put some good chain on it, and we will re-do both comparisons next time, it is always fun! I'll even let you run your big saw against one of my ported 460s.

And maybe you can try running the long bar, like Al did!!! That saw was a piss! Like Lee said, it was no match for the bigger saws, but it shore exceeded your expectations about what an 026 could pull!

Matty I'm a husky guy, but there is no way Al's 026 was that much slower than the huskys... Listen to it scream but it's not cutting.
I ran one with my 346 and they were neck and neck.
And that 346 has no machine work so it's got more in it. And Al freely says a 346 should beat his 026's by design. It's just not that much better.
We need to make a bar that will fit both so we can swap the same chain for a fair comparison.

Hey Dan. Keep in mind as well that Al and I swapped out the WT 194 carb that was boogered with a new one very late in the day. My 026 ran much faster with it. I never took another video of it after the carb swap.
But the saw clearly ran better on the top end and idled much better. What a difference a good carb makes.

Was that your saw in Matts video? Or did Matt grab the stock 026[emoji23]

I don't think it was mine at all. Maybe MustangMike's or someone elses.

For the record I was running semi chisel chain and I believe both the other saws were full chisel

I don't remember if I was running new chain at that point or not....

Busting your balls Matt. The only fair comparison is same chain and 3-4 cuts for averaging. We will do it again. I believe Cfb's 026 whooped yours in NY in a cant, but again different chain.
