I run amsoil dominator at 32:1 in all my two strokes. When I tear down for rebuild it's laying all over in the engine and none of my engines smoke. My 2100s run perfectly clean on this. It's nice oil. Also my 2 strokes all get premium

I'm with you on that! Cleans other oils carbon buildup, no smoke, and I've noticed an increase in power.
8 buks a QT to my door.

I wish I could find it that cheap here! We are up over $60/gallon now, $17/qt.

I ran it for years in my 250hp triple mod sled, and it never let me down.

I know this thread is bit old, but I was out messing around my 372xp and noticed that these plastic caps can only be moved so far, and not the direction i need. How do they get removed?

Your image is not showing up for me but I imagine it's the caps on your carb. A sheet rock screw works great for those. Thread em in and pull them out

Trim off what ever is acting as the stop, looks like the fat part by the carb from your pic, but I'm only familiar with the Stihl ones.

I've been running this for a few months:

http://www.theoilhub.com/972_Ipone_...l?src=Google&gclid=CNHdk_WikNICFQKHswodt68GAg

It smells nice, with little or no smoke. When I pull a muffler or tear a top end down, there is a nice coating of oil on everything, but I'm not getting excess oil out of the muffler, so I think it's right in the sweet spot. I'm going to consider that I am still testing, though, and not call this an endorsement just yet.

There are lots of good oils out there. Try a few and see what you like, and what works for you.

Not sure how oil increases power. The mind is a powerful thing, and if you're motor is really clean inside you're too rich and there is too much wash, your oil isn't burning.
More oil will lean it out ,producing more power .

Right. But that has nothing to do specifically with Imagining Dominator is creating more power than another oil.
Agree 100%.

I have seen reports of extensive testing and dyno tuning in the powersports world that would indicate premix ratio does have an effect on overall performance when jetting is tuned in right. And the ratio that almost 100% of the big dogs agree yields the best overall performance: 32:1

I don't think a 1% increase in oil will lean it out a significant amount, i go from 32:1 to 40:1 all the time and i dont notice it at all, no spooge but i do run them hard for hours on end so that probably clears out anything anyway.

IMHO running more oil then the stock 50:1 with no powerloss and no spooge has no drawbacks.

2 strokes really havent changed that much, ester oils have been available for a long time, and now all of a sudden the "recommended" is 50:1. its probably fine in 99% of cases.

chainsaws aren't really that high strunk to begin with, 4 hp from a 50cc is not alot lol, they seem high strunk because of the high screaming little mufler on them.

lol just for fun of it i took all of the different mix oils i had that were sitting around and put them all in one bottle. i had some husqvarn xp oil that i had been using for years, added the 2 quarts of saber that a friend gave me and three bottlez of the klotz i had mixed them all in the same jug and they all blended nicely i mix my gas at 40:1 using a blend of 92 clear gas and 100ll equal parts which yeilds me 96 octain slightly leaded 40:1 and everything is happy
