I think I'm gonna build a new shower in my master bathroom this fall - I've been eye-ballin' those new membranes,
there's some pretty slick products out now for bathroom and shower underlay.

I’ve used the Schluter stuff on several bathrooms and have had zero issues.

In case anyone was wondering, plywood is not a suitable underlayment for tile. It makes demo easy, though.
