Whoever came up with that idea should be rewarded. Because so often I read a post and think it's clever and witty, but I'm too dumb to come up with a clever and witty reply, but if I really focus my brain cell, I can manage to click the "like" button.

Yes, I agree, although it would be great to add a "throwing up" icon in the quick-pick-mix as some posts do deserve it!

I think it’s a “facebookism” that carried over into forums. I’ve never cared for it, but have been trying to get better about liking posts over the years.
I type all day and it’s the last thing I want to do when not working, so I’ve never been a big contributor to the forums. When I have time to log in and get to enjoy what some folks contributed, I try to show my appreciation by liking their posts. I still don’t do it enough.

What happened to "Rep" bombing someone? Was that only an arboristsite thing?

When I see a post that has a lot of 'likes', almost without exception it is worth reading.

Sawhawgz was an exception.

Earlier today, I did a search and was reading old threads. I was about to like a post when I noticed I already had, back in prehistoric times.
