Nasty divorce there.
Which of the the old gas inline sixes or eights have a crossflow head?
Quick change cylinder option
Hmm, wet sleeves, long pistons, and a mechanical injection pump... Not likely a gas engine.Wayne built aftermarket heads for Cheby/GMC w/12 ports. CRS prevents me from stating it was cross flow.

i think the continental flathead 6 in my forklift has the exhaust on opposite side of intakeI think they were. I'm talking factory. I think maybe Studebaker or Nash had one?
Thanks man! That is one cool truck TJ!

That Jeep motor was the old Super Hurricane flat six updated to a crossflow head. Didn't work well. At all. I can't believe there aren't a few out there. Case tractors 451-501's claim to fame as the xflow head. You'd think a auto/truck builder would have come up with one.Not Studebaker, Packard or Willys, you might try Hudson. The Kaiser Jeep Tornado 230 had the intake and exhaust on opposite sides of the block.

I was gonna head to the wrecking yard and see if they had some 73-87 style dish caps for a GMC laying around. haha!Need to get son dog dish hubcaps for it. Stainless.
I think you need to check that, as I recall the 230 was an aluminum block and also had an overhead camshaft. I threw a rod in a Super Hurricane and tried to rob one from a junk 230 I had and it was a no go. AMC also had the 232 and later the 258 in line 6's.
