how's about these classes for the semi-organized saw racing:
0-45cc
0-51cc (3.1 cube includes 346xp and ms260)
0-65cc
0-80cc
0-100cc
Big Papa 0-anything that started life as a commercial chainsaw
all classes muffler and gas
plenty of opportunity to run pipes and funny fuel in one on one grudge matches
If there is a long straight log of about 14-16" thickness that is clean(ish) we can do dollar races which are a blast mostly because everyone sucks at them.
if anyone wonders what size their saw is just post it up here and we can figure it out.
suggestions gladly accepted, this is roughly half-assed organized at best :)

I will bring some spare race saws along for guys to try as well, its addictive.

That sounds good. I have lots of logs in that range so we should be fine.

My only complaint would be that lumping 044/440s in with 046/460s leaves them irrelevant, even though they often weight 3/4 lb or more less and are almost as powerful.

I would like to see every 10 cc, +/- 5, but that is just me.

They won't be irrelevant if they have a 460 top on them :p.
Wonder what Brett s is up too.
I'm here on the couch, but maybe you meant a different Brett :D.
It's a Hyundai 1.6l with I suspect a carbon buildup problem I was diagnosing a misfire on at work.
I want to see how you mount the bar on that bad boy :campeon:.

Sounds like a great time out there, not sure I can make it, but one never knows.
Lot's of guys who's hands I'd like to shake gonna be there.

so maybe we add a 0-71cc class to run all the 044, MS440, Jonsered 2171, MS441, poulan pro 445, husky 372XP ?
I'm thinking depending on what folks bring the 044/440s with a stock bore may have enough trouble if you drop them into the 65 and lower class you already had set up :couch:.
