WANTED Carving bar and chain

Wifey wants me to carve a bear.
I have no artistic talent so I don’t want to spend too much.

I have one on an ms180 I can loan out to you for a while. That way you dont have to spend the $$ to prove its not easy to do.

I have saw options Ed, 011 top handle is the smallest Stihl, not sure if bar is compatible to the 180.
This project has no timeline and probably will sit on the back burner for some time so I’ll decline your offer as I don’t want to have your bar for an extended period. Thank you for the offer though.

I think the bar would be. The 1/4 pitch drum probably isnt.
If the time comes though and you haven't found anything, let me know. Its getting to the time of year where I wont even be thinking of using it anyway.

If you get all serious ad stuff, I can get dime tip and quarter tip Cannon carving bars and i do have some 1/4" chain tucked away as well
We saw some carving done up close at the Ohio GTG on the 25th, it was pretty cool, the amazing part is looking at a hunk of wood and envisioning that there is something in there and then carving to get it out

Good to know on the cannon bars. I doubt I’ll get serious. Most likely the damn thing will get cut into cookies, I can carve those all day.
