I spoke a bit with mattward74 an aussie on youtube if you're familiar with him he has great vids he has been modding the 372 china saws for years he likes them i guess many guys use them there because of cost oem is staggering there and they have held up great he didn't like the 380 clone he gave it away.
A couple of more Australians are using them too with great results these saws are cake to work on anyway and parts are sooo cheap lol

Matt sent me a 372BB kit years ago. By far the best one I've seen.

Are these carbs better than the ones
On the stihl clones?
What are the weak links
To look for?
The other guy's have messed with the stihl kits these had inspector signatures on different part's of the saws they went through some kind of inspection and both run great no carb issues everything works as it should i just had to tune it to my elevation.

They actually work well. Goofy transfers and all. Just CHECK the plating! If they are not right send it back for another. Before playing with the timing it was a match of an XPW top end. Video proof of that BTW. Just it had really goofy numbers as delivered. Was afraid to "cut" the squish band....kinda limited things. Was Leary of piercing the plating up there.

Both the Huztl 52 & XPW cylinders UN touched, built with no base gaskets and muffler mods....but tuned to a conservative 13K no load. Both were.

AND if you haven't seen enough! Here is the first one I ever had...Huztl all wrapped around an OEM case. Pretty much built stock. Did a job with it and review of those things....what in late 2013 - early 2014? But here is felling trees with a 52mm. Put the f-ups and fun & game trees mixed with a few typical trees. Put down 25+ that day with that saw. BTW that saw still lives. It spent two years with a young fella loggin for a living. I let him borrow it when his 372 got crushed. He never let it come back. Here are a few (BTW My opinion stated at the review in the end of this video has NOT changed):

I've never tried an aftermarket cylinder. I have a 044 that needs a cylinder. I may try one.

Just have to understand they aren't OEM quality or consistent. With the right expectation they will be a win.

I am completely aware of that. I've used Chinese pistons with mixed results. One huztl piston with great results and a no name 028 super piston with huge squish and low compression.

Bought one a few years ago for a fella, ran good, didn't do any performance comparison, saw was DOA when it came in. Still out there working as far as I know.

Is it just me, or are the transfers much smaller on those middle jugs?

Thanks for all your input these chinese saws are new to me but I've used countless chinese parts successfully over the years.

I've seen some of the 50mm AM kits like that before. The smaller transfers match up to the 48mm 365. Think they just upsized their 365 kits to 50mm. Guess it should be called a "365 big bore" :)

No reason why they shouldn't run decent, and maybe with the 365's broader power curve.
