I'm running a 372 Big bore from Definitive Dave.no idea on maker since it arrived in a plain white box.damn thing runs pretty wicked.have an 064 meteor piston to install one day to see if it helps any.

I've tried windowed pistons in saw that were designed for full skirt slugs.....didn't care for it.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I'm going to get one of those 372 kits, but right now I am too giddy with excitement about my shrinking 394 build parts list! :D

They actually work well. Goofy transfers and all. Just CHECK the plating! If they are not right send it back for another. Before playing with the timing it was a match of an XPW top end. Video proof of that BTW. Just it had really goofy numbers as delivered. Was afraid to "cut" the squish band....kinda limited things. Was Leary of piercing the plating up there.

Both the Huztl 52 & XPW cylinders UN touched, built with no base gaskets and muffler mods....but tuned to a conservative 13K no load. Both were.

AND if you haven't seen enough! Here is the first one I ever had...Huztl all wrapped around an OEM case. Pretty much built stock. Did a job with it and review of those things....what in late 2013 - early 2014? But here is felling trees with a 52mm. Put the f-ups and fun & game trees mixed with a few typical trees. Put down 25+ that day with that saw. BTW that saw still lives. It spent two years with a young fella loggin for a living. I let him borrow it when his 372 got crushed. He never let it come back. Here are a few (BTW My opinion stated at the review in the end of this video has NOT changed):

Cool vids as usual Walter, thanks for posting :)

Quick question/clarification though: the first vid compares an OEM XPW to a Huztl 52mm? And which was which?

yep, i know how that feels...

congrats on that!

Shaun just PMed me a day ago letting me know my cylinder machine work is done. :D :D :D He cut the squish and base and raised the transfers for me being that I would not be able to raise them enough without an RA handpiece. I'll do the exhaust and intake when it gets back to me...
