Anybody got any ideas on how to reduce or to stop this from happening. It did it on the factory husky bar and now on the sugi. The Sugi has a larger oil hole and I was hoping that would stop it. It is mounted on a 562xp. I also noticed the lower cavity that matches the oil port on the husky is dry as a bone, is that correct? It oils great until that lower hole stops up. It's not that cold here so I dont think oil weight has anything to do with it. I have to stop cutting and clean the bar out way before I run out of oil or fuel. 20201230_153657.jpg 20201230_153012.jpg

Forgive me if I’m reading this wrong, but the lower hole on the bar is only utilized when flipping the bar over. And the the saw only pumps oil through the top hole.

I found if I stopped the chain in the cut to pull the bar out, my bars oil hole plugged often. This was primarily on logs laying on the ground, I didn't want to chance hitting rock/stone. So I started keeping the chain speed up a little and my oiler hole clogged a lot less.

*talking about my primary oil hole, not the bottom one. Don't pay attention to that one.

That might be why I am noticing it alot more lately. I have been cutting mainly laydowns and standing deads. X-cut chain may not carry as much oil as stihl chain does, probably just something to get used to. I haven't noticed any bar discoloring so I know it's getting some oil.

That dead stuff can be awfully dusty.
