True, but one could say Chuck Berry didn't sound rock-n-roll to me yet he's credited as being something of a founder of it.

Led Zeppelin was my favorite band for a long time, then I discovered Tool (20 years ago) which is an extremely talented group of musicians, their not for everyone but if you're a music head and you don't mind 12 minute songs check them out.I disagree. Had to happen to make Disco go away and leave your head altogether.I think motorhead/venom and the like were the final steps to what people called "metal" in the 80s-90s.
