Definitely has more tack then stihl platinum bar oil. But i dont have enough run time with it yet. Wish it was still hot outside most regular weight bar oil seems to be stickier as the weather cools. Probably because the oil just thickens up.
Something to be said when the oil is 90* plus in the jug and how ever hot the saw is to see how much is slung off the bar or if it has any streamers.

Welp...... I didn't get to run as much as I wanted but yeah I'd say it's good stuff. It has much more tac and thicker than the cheap mile master and cam2 oils. Not quite as heavy as the mvp Menards carried but doesn't sling off as bad either.

I'd say it's probably close to stihl summer weight. Pretty comparable with the stihl, poulan and kinetix I have on hand now actually.

If it was available to me locally I'd pay a bit more to have it on hand for running a longer bar especially 36"+. Definitely keeps the drive links more wet than the cheap mile master and cam2 oils. Pretty much on par or slightly better than the stihl and kinetix oils I have been using on 24"+ bars.

I'm not redbull so yer gonna have to do without all the data points, temperature variances and other variables.

Once the temp drops. I will see if it's too thick for winter duty without needing thinned.

And a big thank you to @166 for sending me a jug to try out. And probably a big kick in the sack for him later because I'm probably going to buy more! It probably isn't sub $5 a gal like most the other stuff I've been running (mile master, cam2, fvp) but I'd say it's probably worth it for better bars and long ones. Who wants to toast a nice jap bar or a 59'er :shakehead::shakehead::shakehead:......

Ran a tank of it last week very little sling. I compared it to Stihl's and TSC oil, I could get the BelRay to make strings 3' long, and only about 1' with the stihl and TSC oil, it's almost glue like, very impressive! I'll try and get the difference on video if I can get the lighting right.
It's definitely stringy stuff

That's pretty good pricing, it's hard to find anything with a Belray label anywhere near $10 a gallon.

Wish I could find it local for that price. I'm a fan of Made In The USA Bel-Ray oils. I've been running EXS in my Ducati with excellent results. And... I just picked up a small bottle of this to try:

Boy was it spendy though.

I'll have to keep an eye out for it around here (south central PA)
Hey Rob, Gettysburg address here. Where in PA are ya? And have you found this stuff in any store? I'm going to ask the bike shop boss if he can order me some since he can get BelRay. I just don't see it in any of his powersports catalogs.

Any chance I could get a part number @166 ?

It's only in the past several years I needed to buy bar oil .It was because I had amassed a lot of it from a packaging plant that gave the employees the leaking cases for free .Those plus another huge amount of "Dexron" auto tranny fluid kept my hydraulic stuff going .I know nothing about this brand of oil but it seems as over priced as Husqvarna branded stuff TSC sells .I'm kind of stingy and prefer the oil in the 5-6 bucks a gallon price range unless of course free would work out better .

Yup. It never came back down. Like coffee beans. One bad season jacked up the price. Never csme back down even though they are having steller seasons. Go figure.
