Which one might you see in a garden tractor pull?I agree.
My early 60s IH Cub Cadet 70 garden tractor has a 7hp Kohler. My grandma’s 2018 Cub Cadet XT1 has a 22hp Kohler.
The IH built one with only 7hp.Which one might you see in a garden tractor pull?
The 8N was introduced very late 1947 or early 1948. Of course as we know the 2N was the predecessor and the 8N was the improved model, albeit the same power. The 8N had a 4 speed and Ford finally but both brake pedals on the right. The 2N and 9N that came before had a 3 speed and brake pedals on each side. It also had a front mount distributor. Of course during the war Ford was not making tractors. When the war ended Grandpa ordered one but production was slow. He finally got it in 1947. It was a 2N and the rear casting shows a production date of March 1947.Yes. They must rate HP different now. My grandfather had a 1948 Ford 8n tractor rated at 18 HP. My kawasaki lawnmower engine is 24. That doesn't add up in my mind.
Yes indeed."Working HP" vs. "Stall HP," it's a Marketing Department thing.
The Maruyama kinda looks like an echo lolI agree they look like a 2511, but it is definitely a Maruyama.

"HIGH RPM" cuts out at 9500!
30cc of power, true bad boy saw.
That's just funny!
It's often telling when they don't advertise HP.
I mean if that’s not white glove service idk what is… but those sharp cheap plastics look out! This is how they were manufactured.
They were also sold as Dolmar/Makita. (PS 311/EA 3100).
Pretty cool video. Thanks for sharing. This is how they were manufactured.

Doubtful! At 9500 rpm, the engine is most likely to reach maximum power.
