I guess from what I can tell with a half worn down archer loop on a 32” bar. As I first opened the chain I thought it looked very crude. In fact I thought it would be junk. I’m impressed. I can’t say I like it better than stihl or Oregon but it’s not a trashy chain at all. Cuts true holds an edge. The tooth profile works. Unbeatable so long as they keep the price under Oregon.
I need a decent chain in the .43 (1.1mm) 3/8 Lp size for folks that run the 14" narrow kerf set up on small saws that I deal with. This is the chain of choice as the cutters are narrow as well as the drive links...
I am trying this offering from Archer as a budget alternative ...
Not bad, apart from the cutters are still not as narrow as the Oregon chain .
