The 115 is a old design but is a real good tool still. On a 15 in bar its very light..That dolmar surprised me it's a torqey lightweight saw.

You have never seen a 15 in bar !! Thats the most common size on 40-50 cc saws here. The 115 is a proper pocket rocket with a closed port cylinder and 13500 rpm as stock.I've honestly never seen a 15 inch bar but i bet it would rip on a light saw.
I let my 87-year-old neighbor try it he liked the lightweight and power compared to his 290.
Less refined than the big names but they will cut right with them i didn't even notice the vibes at all.Everybody should have one or two of these saws from the land of the rising sun I've got a couple here Fuxtec 162 I've seen one with a expansion pipe on YouTube
We can get Stihl bars in 16in often ....15"...Husq mostly come with .325 1.5mm 64 dl .Nope 12 14 16 18 etc. Never saw a 15 that i know of.
Must be a metric thing lol
Any chance you could snap a pic of the bar at the mount end next time you have it off?, would like to see what yours looks like, thanks ahead of time. That cheesy kill switch has to go i'll put a better one on it
All the other controls work very well.
When i get a chance no problem.Any chance you could snap a pic of the bar at the mount end next time you have it off?, would like to see what yours looks like, thanks ahead of time.
I will check the next time i cut.How is the compression on this saw now after some run time?
