What models are those? I don't think I've tried welding on them yet.
It probably is a coating that melts at a higher temp than the base metal, a quick hit with a sanding wheel should take it off.
I’m thinking that’s it Shawn.

Looks good Kevin. You try it on the saw yet?

Al's welds are fine. Don't bother me one bit...lol

Not yet, prolly this week/weekend...... also depends on if Doc’s schedule and mine works out that we might run a few mufflers on a few saws

Cool. Good deal. Anxious to see if saw gains or looses any power.
We're going all scientific here. Lol

Just to keep people updated and on track. I’ll be sending the parts out for powder this week. Heads up Mike!

Muffler is done. Just needs final blasted and painted.

Kenny, I haven’t ran them with the same bar and chain in the same piece of wood so I can’t comment about that. There both very strong though.
Good enough for me.
I need one of those on my mill, soon.

The 084 is getting exercise for now. One needs ported soon.

Also I ran the fabled saw and it is a runner.

I didn't know he was trying to pass that one off as his, SCARR was engraved on the top of the cylinder but it was before I had stickers made. I did know he spent a lot of time trying to duplicate or best it. It was the first 066 I ever ported. I had done a few 660's before then and I was really surprised how much better the 066 timing was over the 660.

He did spend a lot of time trying to copy it.
I don’t recall what he did with that saw.
