I'm really slow so I'm planning further in advance!
He turned 12 last week.

This was my wife’s first car as well. PLEASE put a roll bar and shoulder belts in it. She totaled hers when a jackass ran a red light and pulled out in front of her. Still has issues! FB200539-F224-412A-9F2C-2B0E578A37B1.jpeg

Can't like that.
Plan to "modernize" the interior for safety and comfort.

He found this BMW on our local sale network. He's been digging for a sports car since he was 10 years old. I called the guy and got the story on it. It's been parked for 4 - 5 years. 68,000 miles. The guy got it and a truck in a deal.....just really wanted the truck, and hasn't even tried to get the Beamer started. Welp....Bubba had most of the money saved from helping me. Might be a bad idea, but we'll find out.

We drove well over 200 miles......and passed on the BMW.

The inside was like a small pond. I can only imagine the wiring problems. Hard pass.

Sounds smelly.

My buddy that has the track in his back yard...all the cars smell like either something is living in them or something died in them. Still isn't much that's more fun than banging around in clapped out junkers. My boys think it's the greatest thing ever. Lol

My 69 Toyota Landcruiser had rubber plugs in the floor pan.
Just pull the plugs to let the water drain and keep going.
No problems electrical or otherwise, the don't make cars like they used to.

Dirt track racing is cool , Go fast turn left!

Nice 67 Stang there, my first one was a Black 67 fastback 289 4 speed. A 600 Holley and Thrush glass packs and I thought it was hot! (Forgot to mention, new rings and a valve job)!
