shippin to aus not cheap. sent a big ph there. $270., surface, took 2 mo.
air woulda been $785.

It's much the same shipping from here, last saw I shipped to Canada was $200 on the boat or over $300 on a plane, that was a number of years ago.

I got tired of looking for a genuine clutch cover over here, I ordered a Farmertec last night, with a nice Sugar creek husqvarna decal on it it will look good.

New to me 288xp I found on Craigslist. Looks to be in decent shape. She's a bit dirty after doing some test cutting. Quite an upgrade from my other saw which is a Husky 61. Guy had it listed as a 24" bar but it's a factory 32" bar. It has the Twin Air filter option which is cool but not at the same time since the filter is falling apart and I can't find one anywhere. I might just have to put a pod filter on the cage which should work just fine. Anyone able to make out the year/month off the tag?

Welcome to OPE.

Nice Score! That’s a super nice survivor 288 with all the bells and whistles. If I’m not mistaken the year & month is 2000/3rd month

Dang. You’re the one who got that. Lol. It didn’t last long on Craigslist. I messaged the guy, and he replied that it may already be sold. Nice pick up!!

More pictures of that filter adapter please. I've never seen one like that.
