I had one with just the gasket delete it was blowing 215 220

Damn...would a fella even need more compression than a base gasket delete yields? I know you build some higher, guessing it’s just one of those saws that loves big compression numbers.

Damn...would a fella even need more compression than a base gasket delete yields? I know you build some higher, guessing it’s just one of those saws that loves big compression numbers.

I just built one that I took 0.030 off the band and set the squish at 20 the dang thing is a hand full I haven't even tryed to church the comp on it.

At what point do we have to start being concerned about 91 octane not being enough????

With what folks say is already a pretty small chamber compared to most saws and stout compression numbers at .030 squish, you made the chamber even smaller and cut squish down to .020..that's gotta be a bear!

I hadn't ran one that 93 wasn't enough. My 395 and 288 are blowing 200+

Just curious is all. I know raw compression number isn't the end-all be-all of indicators in that... My 394 pulls 210
