7900 AV limiter

Hey all how’s it going...I’m new to the dolmar/makitas and I have a question about the anti vibe limiter. Seems to hit the cylinder fins pretty good, anyone have experienced/ remedy for this? I’ve gathered some information on this, just never hurts for more I guess! Or should I just run it and not be worried about it? Thanks a bunch

On my older blue Makita it's only has a spring there. Thinking you should be able remove it .

Grind the part thats hitting off.

If it's hitting it just a matter of time before it chunks the fin.
Maybe you could file it down to where it has clearance.

Just got it back, haven’t got to even cut with it yet. But from the videos Kevin sent me it’s a runner!!!!
