Bad googlfu on my part, i couldnt come up with a search term that netted the part number or husqy saw that i could get an auto return ignition switch and drop it into a 7900. Just kept coming up with coil discussions. Anyone know about this? @Powerstroke Cowboy

I did some Internet sleuthing and I think the part number your looking for is 537419001.

I'm going to buy a couple and see.

Edit: Looks like Kevin beat me to it.

@vrex I just bought a 5 pack of 537419001 online. Will see if they fit.

They definitely fit. I have a half dozen of them in my saws. But it’s been a minute. It seems like the spade terminal on the switch is wider than what it is on the wire

Good to hear. That should be an easy remedy.

Yeah it’s pretty easy. Some guys have taken the switches apart and put on a different terminal. Seemed kind of invasive so I think I remember cutting the side of one off with snips and it worked all right

That's what I figured I'd do. Glad to hear it works. Thank you!

Makita switch on the left, momentary husqvarna on the right. This side matches up.

Makita left, husqvarna right. The only difference is tab size. As Kevin was saying you just need to cut the husqvarna tab to match the Makita. It'll fit perfectly after that.
