They use them when they cut fire woods until 1 meter long pieces for cuting the same pieces without measure. if you cut long woods example 4 or more meters you can not see the point in that distance specialy in good light contitions,
its not the price , its if this is a toy or something that will make your work more easy and because i have work with one of this , i can tell you that is a toy for small childs
not worth to buy it

I slid a WJ-69 right on to my 661, everything looked fine, no mods needed

Its the coil that you need to swap, or the saw runs retarded. Might be able to keep solenoid attached, but if I can get a coil, I'd rather be able to adjust her for what I like.

1) coil
2) flywheel
3) carburator ( this maybe can avoid but iam not sure )
4 ) some plastic parts

total cost about 400 euros + shiping

I would say you wouldn't need the flywheel once the other smart parts were gone. Carb you could just swap any of the other 066 carbs.

i really dont know friend is just what the disrtibutor tell me, maybe is better to ask some engineer from the factory before starting the change

Pretty well half the cost of the saw.

The coil in the 661 no mtronic is also limited , i dont know if this can be change with some tricks
