Stihl plating is proprietary, more like chrome than nikasil from what I understand.

So millenium did that headless 660/066 jug. Beautiful plating. Anybody got a pic of a U.S. chrome jug (blind cylinder? I've used both in many sled bike and ski engines but have never got a good look at a redone blind jug.

Stihl plating is proprietary, more like chrome than nikasil from what I understand.

I still don't quite understand why they use such a proprietary blend, it's not really chrome but not nikasil either.
