I figured as much, will have to take a look after run her stock for a bit.[emoji111]Just a dremel and a carbide burr. Go as far as you can from both sides.
But dolmar and Stihl also have realy light covers and they don’t brake with the big Spikes. The original clutch cover with captive nuts is really light, I think the reason they are using the old 372/390/576 cover for the large spikes is because too much leverage with the large dawg may damage the cover itself.
It might be worth checking with the op.

Little better then the list I seen posted on CR.

So dumb FNG question here, but if you were getting a 28" B&C, would you choose .050, .058, or .063?

I use .0.63 in all my saws starting from 15" up to 36" which is my longestMy personal opinion, the longer the bar - the wider the better - more oil + less jams. I would go with .063.
I'll take some later when I get home. Pics won't show much. If I had the smarts/time to upload a video it would be easier to see.@ABarrick can we at least get pics of everything you are describing wrong?
I know exactly what you're saying. It's not a break in issue. It's flat out broken. The saw is unusable in its current state.@ABarrick They are ALL duds on the first tank.
3-4 tanks...….maybe this is going to be OK.
10 tanks...……..Holy Chit this is nice.
Looks like you need to go back to the "hammer"....your 064/ 066I know exactly what you're saying. It's not a break in issue. It's flat out broken. The saw is unusable in its current state.
I believe the 572 only comes with the new .058 XCut C85 chain. So dumb FNG question here, but if you were getting a 28" B&C, would you choose .050, .058, or .063?

.058 is best of both worlds between .050 and .063 in my opinion.
