Sounds like what I was hoping for. A 70cc with close to 90cc torque and the fuel efficiency of a smaller cubic inch. Torque gets work done in the woods. I used a 372 and then a 390 yesterday and would not even bother to pick up the 372 after running the 390 (both with a 24”). They both cut about the same speed but the 390 has way more balls and more tolerant of the kerf pinching. If your running a stock or light mods 372 for bore cutting it’s a 20” saw. I’m hoping the 572 can run a 24 like a 390 does.

Gotta start with a G. Kind of pricey upgrade. Unless somebody really HAS to have it, I don't think it will be a "hot" item. :)
I’ll be going that way. I’m only 33, but I have mechanic’s hands. It’s worth it for me to have comfortably warm hands at my play job, my day job doesn’t have that luxury. The kit for the G will include big dogs and the side cover too?

Have no clue what's included. Not even sure if it's a kit or just a replacement handle. Also not sure if the heat extends to the clutch side of the handle either.

I love my heated steering wheel and seat in my pickup, would never buy another without it.

Last heated handle saw I bought was in 1986 with a shiny new 064.
But my next new saw will definitely have it.

I don’t see many guys here that work winters buying one without it, may be a deterrent if it’s that much of an upgrade. But who knows, hard to put a price on comfort.

Going from a standard 572 to a G model is only a $50 bump.

It's only the full wrap G that has the big price increase.

I may have missed it in this thread has the approx price of the 572 been given here?

No, posting actual prices online is a bit tricky for obvious reasons, but the msrp is $949, $1059 for the G. That's $50 more than the 372 and 372 G.

Dealer cost will go up more than $50 though, so it's not as simple as adding $50 to a recent 372 price. Bob mentioned some "$X more than a 372" numbers a while back, but I'm not sure if those are still accurate so I won't quote here.

So what you are saying is bribe Bob with ribeyes and bourbon to get a sweet deal?

Yup. 572G's arrived this morning. Regular 572's shipping out today on New Penn. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow afternoon cause NP is pretty good. Won't know for sure until I see "out for delivery" in the morning. NEMF would have been middle of next week. Land Air would maybe have had them here by the 4th of July. I'm sure you have your good and bad carriers, so you know what I'm talking about. Usually it's more of a terminal issue, but Land Air is just plain bad everywhere.

Hi Bob, are the 572's tuned differently depending on which coast you're on ???
I was told by the one and only factory store in town to buy your ) New 3 series ) saws Out of State because the Ca. Saw's are Sooo lean the saw's Burn Up, and they were unable to richen them up without buying a out of state carb ??? So do the auto tune carb's use two different maps ???
