Just have the dealer hook ya up with a new fuel hose.....
They just found out on FB this morning. Hasn't been contacted by Stihl yet for the fix. He said he would find out, I was the 4th person to call this morning about it and they have only been open an hour. A lot of loggers around these parts use the 461.

Just put the bar oil into the fuel tank, it's thicker and less flammable than fuel - should help keep the fire hazard risk at bay! :p

Didn't i axe you bout this months ago ?
yes you did. about 1-1/2...didn't I check your number? some of the saws within the serial range were actually checked at the factory. the three we had that were in the serial range actually were ok. they have a nifty website link you can plug in your number to see.

My dealer and I have known about this "recall" for at least 6 weeks.
This is old news......for some.
dealers got a notice to stop sellin them...I don't think the actual recall notice went out to the pubelick until recently.
