455 rancher. Is primer bulb necessary

I just ran across a baggie full of 011 bits today while looking for something else.

I really like mine. Just not that slider choke. Gunk gets into the slide often. Just enough so ya think it's choked.

In fact I used it a lot today. Like it better for brushing then my 191t mainly for the longer reach of the 16" bar.

I have some equipment that has that bulb but I usually forget and don't use it. I never have used the bulb on my weed trimmers...
