Just wondering if anyone would be interested in an oak tree that died recently and laying over (from drought we had) but not laying on the ground, some of the huge branches are holding it up at two points and the trunk also. It's on a home owners property away from their home, easy access. I just don't have the capability to move and transport such a beast and my main problem is I have no time at this point. So if it would be worth while to someone, I can put you in touch with the home owner at no cost to you, so you would deal directly with the home owner and I would be out of the picture. Let me know.

Wrong side of the planet for me :)

Just not a lot of members on here that mill as of yet :(

Yea, I guess I'm a dreamer, as I wish we had the "beam me up Scotty" technology, sure would solve allot of problems, such as trucking, shipping, weight factors and economic costs.
Here is a link to help others build their own sawmill. I wrote an article on my DIY sawmill build that will maybe help others get into milling logs.
